PA Online Partners with Info-Matrix
In August of 2007 PA Online announced the completion of the Network Penetration and
Vulnerability Project for the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
This project consisted of:
- Penetration and vulnerability scans of the Network Operations Center
infrastructure to include firewalls, routers, and switches
- Server rights assessment which analyzed file privileges and user rights
- An assessment of an EMS (Emergency Medical Service) web application
PA Network Customers Join the Family
In June 2007 PA Online acquired the customers of PA Network. PA Network was founded in the mid 1990's by Dan and Cyndi Jones. PA Online offered a variety of support services to PA Network from December 2004 through our acquisition of the company in June.
Philadelphia Goes Wireless!!!
In October 2006, PA Online became the first and only Internet Service Provider (ISP) to partner with EarthLink as part of their Municipal Wireless endeavor.
PA Online provides Internet service under the brand Wi-phi.com in the Philadelphia market. The 135 square mile network will be completed by the end of 2007. Additional information is available at www.wi-phi.com .
PA Online Acquires I-Tech
In September 2006 PA Online acquired the customers of I-Tech.
I-Tech had been providing high quality cost effective Internet service to business and residential customers throughout the central Pennsylvania area for over 8 years. I-Tech delivered outstanding technical support via telephone and on site at customer locations.
PA Online will continue the I-Tech tradition of providing premier customer support and the key to our continued success will be to build on the strong business relationships established by John Schrock, I-Tech's founding President and owner. Internet on the Go
In April 2006 the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority (SARAA) signed a contract with PA Online to install and maintain Internet kiosks at Harrisburg International Airport. The kiosks are located both inside and outside the security gate
